Obituary for Neil Arthur Pooler

Pooler, Neil (Tommy)
March 4, 1924 to July 22, 2019
In his 96th year was granted his wings on July 22nd to carry him on his journey to heaven. He passed peacefully with his wife Shirley of 69 years and family by his side. Tommy was an amazing and kind father of 3 daughters, Kathy (Garry), Nancy (Murray), Kim (Steve). Papa to Todd (Lindsey), Warren (Jackie), Big Steph (Jamie), Trevor (Karolina), Little Steph and 10 great grandchildren. He is now reunited with his infant daughter, grandson Jason and great grandson Colton. He was a brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Surviving brother Russell (of Ridgeway) and sister Shirely Webb (of Fort Erie). Tommy was a Veteran of World War II, life member of the Gunners Club, a volunteer fire fighter of 20 years and a member of the carpenter union for 50 plus years. A celebration of life will be held on August 4th from 2-4pm at the Gunners Club on 115 Henry St. Brantford. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the McMaster Children’s Hospital. Tommy will never be forgotten and will always be in our hearts. Special thanks to the Willet and BGH.
