Dr Francis Doherty has left this earth to join his soulmate Pauline (nee Young, 1927 – 2011). A dedicated physician and loving father to Frank (Rose), Pauline Cecile (Gerry), Eileen Doran (Bob) and Marion McLean (Derek Ferrari), he will also be missed by his grandchildren (Gerry, Pauline, Jackie, Brittany, Chelsea, Gillian, David, Liam, Callum and their significant partners) and many great-grandchildren. Frank was a much respected squadron leader and medical officer in the Royal Air Force and much loved by his patients in Birmingham, England (1956-1966) and Brantford (1967- 1991). Special thanks to the staff at St Joseph’s Villa in Dundas where Frank has resided for the past 5 years. A visitation will be held Monday 17th of June from 6 – 8 PM at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street Brantford with the funeral mass to be held at St Pius X Church, 9 Waverly Street Brantford on Tuesday 18th June at 11:00 AM. Reception will be held following the mass at the Charing Cross Reception Suites adjacent to the Toll Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations to Margaret's Place, Hospice at St. Joseph's Villa, Dundas would be greatly appreciated.
