Obituary for Kelli Ann Zavarella

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kelli Zavarella at the Stedman Community Hospice, while surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, May 20, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer, in her 54th year. Much loved wife of Domenic Zavarella. Loving mother of Domenic Jr., and Jack Zavarella. Cherished daughter of Primrose and Douglas Freer. Beloved sister of Shawn (Dawn) Freer. Dear daughter-in-law of Vittoria and the late Emidio Zavarella. Sister-in-law of Sandy (Ryan) Muller and Maria (Bruce) Edwards. Aunt of Veronica (Christopher), Crystal (Andrew), TJ (Kristy), Addison and Brandon. She will also be fondly remembered by many extended family members and friends. Kelli was a devoted Real Estate agent for 33 years. She was a consistent top producer who assisted countless clients find the home of their dreams. Both Kelli and Domenic helped to raise funds and participated in the Sunshine Foundation DreamLift, which gave kids in need the opportunity to travel to Walt Disney World for the day. Kelli was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to travel the world with her family and friends, right up until her passing. She loved to plan these trips and ensured every last detail was perfect. Kelli had a passion for design and decorating which was exemplified in the exquisite model homes her and Domenic created. The family would like to thank Dr. Lee and staff at the Brantford Cancer Clinic, Dr. Ko, Christina Kim and the staff at the Odette Cancer Clinic at Sunnybrook Hospital for all their care and support over the years. The family will receive friends at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 6-9 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 9 Waverly Street, Brantford on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Kelli’s Life will follow at the Rossini Lodge, 140 Grey Street, Brantford from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stedman Community Hospice or to Sunnybrook Hospital - Cancer research, would be appreciated.
