Obituary for Luigi Pace

PACE, Luigi – it is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Luigi on Monday, May 6, 2019. Luigi was in his 77th year. Beloved husband for over 50 years to Martha. Deeply loved father of Danny and his wife Annalisa (nee: Costantini) and Sandra and her husband Marco Ciommo. Special, proud Nonno to Gianna, Danyella, Noah, Matteo and reunited with his grandson Cristofer (2003). He is survived by his siblings Lucia (Nerino) Cretella, Domenica (Carmine) Garofalo, Silvana (Alessio) Lauretti, Aldo (Giovanna) Pace and Frank (Maria) Pace. Fondly remembered by his siblings in law Ernesta (Luigi) Casasanta, Nancy (Ennio) DiLoreto and Violetta Pace of Italy. Special Zio to his many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. He will be missed by his many dear friends. He is also predeceased by his parents Edoardo and Maria Pace, his siblings Assunta (Antonio) Santangelo, Antonio Pace, Anna (Cosimo) Del Signore and Iolanda (Salvatore) Petrella and his in laws Vittorio and Lucia Caldarozzi. Luigi was a local home builder and developer. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved playing the accordion, cooking and eating delicious foods while celebrating with his beloved family and friends. We would like to extend a special thank you to his doctors including Dr. Ibrahim, Dr. Koubaesh, Dr. Jones and Dr. Tagavi and to the first responders, for their compassion and care. Family and friends will be received at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Sunday, May 12th from 2-4 p.m. & 6-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 9 Waverly Street, Brantford on Monday, May 13th at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of the Assumption Mausoleum in Paris. If desired, donations to the Stedman Community Hospice would be appreciated.
