Peacefully on Monday, April 8, 2019 at the Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 80 years old. He will be greatly missed by his beloved and devoted wife, Shirley (nee Cornell) for 59 wonderful years. Loving father to Jeff and his wife, Amie. Proud grandfather to Owyn and Sophya who adored their “Bubba Wayne”. Dear brother of Dr. Charles (Marlene) and Ivan (Florence). Brother-in-law of Roger Tuck, Ernie Anderson, Don and Marjorie McQuiggan. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends, staff and customers of Norfolk Auto Parts. He was predeceased by his parents Verne and Faye Baldwin, in-laws Percy and Edna Cornell and siblings Nina (Arnold), Bill (Donna), Vic (Lucille), Eunice Tuck and sister-in-law Marion Anderson. He treasured his family, home, friends, business and cars. He and Shirley worked and played as a team. They enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds, musical concerts, live theatre, day trips and travelling, especially with their family. Relatives and friends will be received at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford, on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 3 p.m with visitation one hour prior. Special thanks to Dr. David Vincent, the Heart Function Clinic at the Hamilton General Hospital, The Kidney Clinic and the Bayshore Home Care nurses, especially Mark, for their wonderful care and concern.
