Passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital with his loving family by his side in his 74th year. Cherished husband and best friend to Mary McCooeye for 25 years. Loving father to Sherry Willson, Shelley Brown (Don), Paul Willson (Jennifer), Allen Willson (Ashley), Joshua Willson (Stephanie) and wonderful stepfather to Tina Stratford-Plas (Jim), Teresa Farquhar (Gary) and Thomas Stratford (Claire). Cherished memories of Ted are left with his 18 grandchildren who will miss him dearly. Ted also leaves behind his dear mother Margaret Willson and mother in law Jean Hibbert. Ted was a simple man who enjoyed the little things in life. Ted was a truck driver for a majority of his life, and enjoyed the adventures that being a truck driver brought him. He had a great sense of humor and adored his family more than anything in the world, always putting them first. In keeping with Ted’s wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
