Surrounded by the love of his family, Angel passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, just days before his 77th birthday. Beloved husband to Carmen and cherished father to Angel (Nancy) and Mary (Rob). Special Abuelo to his grandchildren Owen, Lauren, Kyle and Gavin. Angel is also survived by his brother Carlos (Manoli), sister Mari Angelis (Paco), cousin Joe Garcia and many nieces, nephews and family in both Canada and Spain. Angel was predeceased by his parents Angel and Enriqueta Marcos of Spain. Angel immigrated to Canada in 1968 and worked long and hard to provide a beautiful life for Carmela and the kids. He could often be found out in his garden or in the cold room tending to his wine and jamon. He enjoyed spending summers fishing at the trailer in Kincardine, hosting family picnics at Brant Park and just simply watching his family grow. We would like to offer a special thank you to the medical teams at Brantford General CCU and Hamilton General ICU. We are forever grateful for your efforts and commitment to Angel’s care. The family will receive friends at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross St. Brantford, on Friday, February 8th 2019 from 6-9p.m. A funeral service will be held the following morning in the chapel at 9a.m. Donations on the families behalf would be appreciated to the Lung Association Ontatio or a charity of your choice.
