Obituary for Pasqualino "Pat" Carrozzella

CARROZZELLA, Pasqualino - “A true love story never ends”. On Sunday, January 27th, 2019, surrounded by his family, our father, brother, Nonno and friend, Pat left us to join his beautiful Rosie, best friend, wife and soulmate of 52 years. Cherished father of Anthony (Heidi), Anita (Bryan) and Michelle (Rick). Nonno will be terribly missed by his grandchildren Tanner, Luke, and Casey. Brother to Angelina, brother in law and best friend to Albert Trombetta, brother to the late Mario Carrozzella and Florence. Zio to Adrian (Heather), Marilyn, Tony (Carmen), Darren, Richard, Christian, Austin, Allie, Torie, Julian and Mikayla. Predeceased by his parents Antonio and Anita Carrozzella, and in-laws Michael and Maria Vaccaro. During the past three years of Pats life we saw the very best in a husband and as a father. While battling his own illness he was selfless in his commitment to caring for his wife during her brave fight with cancer. Days after the passing of our Mother the fight of his life started, after two brain surgeries and battling complications he continued to show us amazing strength and courage. We were proud to call him Dad. Being around our Father during this time showed us that faith in family, determination, and strong will are all important traits that he instilled in us to keep us grounded as a family. Our father was determined and not afraid to carve out his own path. Pat was a quiet and loyal man who loved being surrounded by his family. Pat had a passion for horses and owned many of his own that he enjoyed watching race. He was often found at the local rink or baseball diamond watching his grandchildren who he adored. This would bring him joy in his spare time. Family and friends will be received at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford, on Thursday, January 31, 2019, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 1st, 2019, at St. Pius Church, 9 Waverly Street, at 11am Brantford, Ontario. Donations can be made at Soup for the Soul. “Goodbyes are not forever or the end. They simply mean we will miss you until we meet again.” Dad, until that time we will continue to make you proud “One day at a time”. www.tollfh.ca
