Obituary for Patricia Elinore Deiter (formerly Johnson, nee Anderson)

Peacefully, at Park Lane Terrace on January 23, 2019 in her 84th year, Patricia Elinore Deiter went to be with Jesus, after a long and valiant battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Elinore (Mel) Brown of Kamloops BC, son Stephen (Jennifer) Johnson of St. Thomas and her precious grandchildren Emily, Timothy and Nicholas. She will also be greatly missed by her husband Floyd Deiter, sisters Betty Nelson, Carole (Bill) Thomson, brothers Howie (Dora) Anderson, and Mark (Marlene) Anderson, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Omar Johnson, as well as her parents Velma and Glenn Anderson and sister Linda (John) Pollock. Patricia was a Registered Nurse who taught Nursing for many years at Mohawk College, and was a Supervisor at John Noble Home for several years. The family will receive friends at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Stenabaugh Cemetery. Donations in memory of Patricia are graciously accepted to First Baptist Church (Brantford) and Jerseyville Baptist Church.
