Condolence From: Dennis & Verlie Grant
Condolence: I lost a great friend of 62 years. We first met at Summerlville Beach and became instant friends over a large log floating in the waves. Along with Dennis Hagen and Alfred Zwicker, we attend Boy's group under the leadership of Ray Jefferson. We attended Boys Parliaments together, fished, hunted, skated, danced, drove fast cars, built cabins out of drift wood, everything teen boys would do together. Our teen years were magical and great. Bob was always the strongest and fastest. None of the 4 of us took a drink of alcohol until we were well into our twenties. We were all very close friends. After school we stayed in touch with one another on a regular basis. I will miss my dearest friend, may he find peace without pain in Heaven.

Condolence: Barb and Boys. I am so very sorry to read about Bob's passing. I enjoyed our time as neighbours. He was kind enough to put a neighbor notch in the hedge so we could see each other when we were chatting. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Condolence From: Tara Tran (City of Brantford)
Condolence: Seeing Bob's friendly and interested face at city events was always welcomed. Hearing Bob's ideas and insights were invaluable. Brantford was so fortunate for all of his dedicated volunteering. May those memories soften the sadness. Tara (worked on Waterfront Master Plan and Mohawk Lake District projects)
