Peacefully with his family by his side, at the Stedman Community Hospice on Monday January 7, 2019. Bob Scott in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Barbara for 53 years. Loving father to Michael (Barbara), David, and Jeffrey (Lisa-Jo). Loved grandpa to Kathleen, Sam, Simon, Émilie, and Camille. Dear brother of Janet (Walter Whynot), Donald (Lois). Brother-in-law of Nancy McDonald, Mike Oulton and Dorothy Oulton. Bob was a former Commissioner for Scouts in Brantford, a longtime member of Fairview United Church, and a former member of the board of the Brantford General Hospital Foundation. Bob’s love for the outdoors and conservation was demonstrated by his active volunteerism with the Grand River Conservation Authority where he was awarded the Watershed Award, he was active with New Forest in the City, the Brant Tree Coalition, and the Eagle watch. Friends will be received at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Friday January 11, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Service to be held at Fairview United Church, 49 Wayne Drive, Brantford on Saturday January 12, 2019 at 2 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Grand River Conservation Foundation, the Stedman Community Hospice or a charity of your choice appreciated.
