Obituary for Margaret Ann Fitzgerald
Living with the angels now, on Tuesday December 18, 2018, Margaret Ann Fitzgerald (Kerr, nee Pigott) in her 82nd year.
Reunited with her sweethearts, Mervyn Kerr (1988) and Art Fitzgerald (2008).
Best loved mother forever of Cheryl Rossignoli (Tony) and David Kerr (Tara).Cherished memories are left with her loved and adored grandchildren, Kris (Vivian), Kolten, Katie (Mike), and Emilie. Margaret also leaves behind her dear sister Eileen Wallace (Blair), and her niece and nephews.
Margaret will be fondly remembered for her friendly and outgoing personality, her feisty and fighting spirit, but most importantly the pride and love that she had for her family. Margaret was a very special lady who had many exceptional friends.
Margaret lived at St.Joseph’s Lifecare Centre for the past eleven years where she enjoyed playing cards, board games and all of the programs. She had many friends there. Special thanks to the excellent doctors and staff at St. Joe’s for taking such great care of Margaret.
Margaret was also a proud member of the New City Church for several years. Thanks to the staff and her friends at the church for being a part of her life.
Friends will be received at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford, on Friday January 4, 2019 from 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St.Joseph’s Lifecare Centre Foundation, New City Church or a charity of your choice.
