On Saturday, October 20, 2018, in his 90th year, Ainslie passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Devoted husband of the late Mary Cooper (2012) for almost 60 years. Loving father of Debbie, Brenda and Drew Shelley, and Judy and Gary Williams. Cherished Grandpa of Matthew and Deanna, Stephen, David, Daniel and Rebecca. Special Great-Grandpa of Micah. Ainslie fellowshipped for many years with his church family at Bethel-Park Bible Chapel, Brantford and Bridlegrove Bible Chapel, Scarborough. Dad was cared for by many special people over many years. Thank you to Dr. Leslie Bannister and Dr. Adam Norris for over thirty years of great support and care of both Mom and Dad. Thank you to the staff at Tranquility Place in Brantford for their concern and care for Dad over the two years he lived there. Special thanks to Dr. Douglas Thompson and the amazing staff at Spruce Lodge in Stratford where Dad was loved and so wonderfully taken care of over the last eleven months. Friends will be received at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday at 1 pm. Interment to follow, Mount Hope Cemetery, Brantford.
