Marion passed away peacefully in her 93rd year at Charlotte Villa, Brantford on Sunday, September 2, 2018. She was the daughter of the late John James and Ida Mae Crewson and was predeceased by her brothers Lloyd, 1998 (Helen 2003) and Sheldon, 2016. She is survived by her sister-in-law Shirley in Calgary and several nieces and nephews; Judy Chalmers of Medicine Hat, John Crewson (Jo Anne Nugent) of Mississauga, Laurie and Stephen Crewson of Calgary and Elizabeth (Greggory) Feduk of Blenheim. She will also be missed by her great-niece and two great-nephews; Julia Nugent Crewson (Andrew Vecchiarelli), Marshall (Jordan) Feduk and Lincoln Feduk as well as her great-grandnephew Lucas. Marion began her teaching career in East Zorra, Oxford County in a one room school but the majority of her 37 years teaching was spent with the Brantford County Board of Education from which she retired as Department Head of Family Studies at North Park Collegiate. She loved her Miniature Schnauzers, curling, golfing, gardening and volunteering but more than anything her beloved Blue Jays. She was an avid traveler, bicycling through Holland in her 60’s. Her enthusiasm and interest in others resulted in forming countless lifelong friendships throughout her life. Marion was an extraordinary cook, a welcoming hostess and she made a mean margarita! Family and friends will be received at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME , 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Sunday September 9, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. with a service in the chapel to follow.
