Peacefully at the Stedman Community Hospice on Thursday July 19, 2018. Vyrt Sisson, beloved husband of Barbara and of the late Adele. Loving father of Ron (Pam), Charles (Marlene), and John (Cathy). Proud grandpa of David (Taylor Wetton), Margaret, Shepard, Natalie and Tom. Pre-deceased by his parents Eldon and Daisy Sisson and his sister Iris. Vyrt was born in Peterborough on June 5, 1933. He was an active volunteer in many community organizations, a founder of the Brant Community Foundation, a member of St. Andrew’s United Church, the Rotary Club of Brantford, and the Probus Club of Brantford. Friends will be received at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Wednesday July 25, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at St. Andrew’s United Church, 95 Darling Street, Brantford on Thursday July 26, 2018 at 1 p.m. Cremation.
