Obituary for Jozef Gusciora

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, and brother Jozef at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton in the early morning of Sunday, July 8. Joe is survived by his beloved wife Malgorzata of 25 years (nee Babik); his children Paulina and Dawid; his siblings, Joanna (Jason) Dubecki and Krzysztof; his nieces and nephew Alicia, Elijah and Solomiia; dear friend Stanislawa Lazarowicz. He will be sadly missed by the Gusciora, Woloszyn, Babik, Maikher and Antanovich family both in Canada and Eastern Europe. He is predeceased by his parents, Jadwiga and Jan Gusciora. Jozef was a very strong and resilient family man who faced difficult life challenges with great endurance and dignity. Jozef will always be remembered for his strong morals, his involvement in the Polish community and his passion for horticulture. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and all who had the chance to be touched by his loving and selflessly giving heart. The family will receive friends at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Thursday July 12, 2018 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm with Parish Prayers to be recited at 3pm and 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 235 Brant Avenue, Brantford on Friday July 13, 2018 at 10 am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 620 Governors Road, Paris. Donations in memory of Jozef can be made to the St. Joseph’s Scholarship Fund or St. Joseph's Parish.
