Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on June 1, 2018 at the Brantford General Hospital, at the age of 80 years. Beloved wife of the late Vincent Furler (2011). Loving mother of Donna Smith (Darryl) and Mark Furler (Cora). Cherished grandma of Deanna, Darla, Denyse (Bobby), Kayla (Mark) and Nick (Rachel). Precious GG of Mila, Lilly and Hendrix. Predeceased by her sisters Veda, Lourine, Jean, and her brother Bruce. Dorothy will be missed by her sister Helen (Ralph), her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will receive friends at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Kidney Foundation of Canada or Central Baptist Church, where Dorothy was a long time member.
