Obituary for William James "Bill" Scott

Bill passed away peacefully, surrounded by love on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Stedman Community Hospice, after a brave battle with cancer, in his 70th year. Bill was the beloved and cherished husband of Hilda. Loving and proud father of Jeremy (Michelle), Derek and Jason (Angele). Special and loving step-dad of Jeannine Taylor (Sylvester) and Jason Fournier, Ryan Stockman (Tanya) and Erinn Stockman (Jamie), Tammy Chamberlain and Julie Chamberlain. Bill leaves behind loving thoughts and memories with his grandchildren, and all his step-grandchildren. He was a very proud “Grampy”. Devoted and loving brother to Sharon (John) Ferguson. He will also be missed and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends. Predeceased by his wife Dawn MacWilliam (2011). The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the “Angels” at the Stedman Community Hospice – Hankinson House for their dedication and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held at the Brant Artillary Gunners Club, 115 Henry Street, Brantford on Sunday, May 13, 2018 from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stedman Community Hospice, or the Cancer Clinic at the Brantford General Hospital would be appreciated.
