Condolences

Condolence From: Bonnie Swaan
Condolence: Using Paul’s words Jane has ‘gain...which is far better’ which are comforting words to the loved ones yet waiting ‘to gain’. I had the pleasure of participating in Janes’ class ‘Greek Word Study’ in the 1st years of the Precept workshops in Abbotsford and then again when I 1st asked you to come to Salmon Arm, so many years ago. Memories of sitting at a table talking of life, family and of course Precepts, all under the shadow of the Almighty.

Condolence From: Georgie and Rick Wiggins
Condolence: Dearest Tom, Jennifer and Ron, Elizabeth and Stephen, Patrick and Angie, beloved grandchildren, and the Petersen family, Just want you to know how deeply we share in the loss of our precious Jane. We feel so blessed to have been touched by her life in so many ways throughout the years, to laugh and cry and pray together, to share our Greatest Joy, Christ alone, and our greatest love to study His Word and help others to 'dig deeper' with us. We have many fond memories that we will always treasure, but today, we cling to one sweet thought, and that is the preciousness of that moment in glory when our Lord received our beloved Jane unto Himself, and the joy when Jane heard His voice, saying "Well done, my good and faithful servant." Psalm 115:16 You are dearly loved and always in our prayers. Rick, Georgie, Kelly, Katie, Kristi and Lexi.

Condolence: Dear Tom & family, Our deepest sympathies to you during this time of loss. Gain strength from the Lord, and may His love surround you every day. Jane was a very special person in our lives. She was a wonderful teacher, mentor and friend. She encouraged us to dig deeper in the Word, mentored us in times of need and made me laugh when we'd go to Scrapbook retreats, shopping and make cards together. We will miss her dearly.

Condolence: Dear Tom and Family: Forever grateful for Jane taking me to Women Alive in Waterloo (1978) where I found the Lord. We were blessed as young women in bible study and Precept as she led and we saw our husbands and children come to the Lord. She was a great encourager who deeply loved the Lord. May the family feel the Lord's arms around it at this time. Proverbs 3:5,6

Condolence From: Rachel Van den Heuvel
Condolence: Dear Tom & Family, I am so very sorry for your loss. When I came on staff at Precept a number of years ago, I was broken and battered because of life’s circumstances. I am so grateful to have had Jane’s mentorship and the teaching of Biblical thinking the year before she retired from the ministry. I have fond memories of her love and compassion even as we talked through some hard things. I am so thankful for her love for Jesus and I know beyond a shadow of doubt she is healed and whole. Praying for you all as you grieve the loss of such a special woman - wife, mother, aunt, sister, Memaw, teacher and friend.
