Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at the Brantford General Hospital on Thursday, March 29th, 2018, at the age of 61. Beloved wife of 43 years and teenage sweetheart to Pardo. Loving mother of Jason (Nicole) and Michelina (David). Treasured Grammy of Anthony, Ethan, Kaiden, Carter, and Cameron. Cherished sister of Tollina deWaard, Harry Radersma (Julie), Wilma Chiasson (Gerry), Joyce Buisman (Jim), and Jim Radersma (Laurie). Daughter-in-law of Michelina Vulcano in Italy, sister-in-law of Alfredo Vulcano (Ann), Alfonso Vulcano in B.C., and Mariarosa Vulcano in Italy. Caring aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her loving parents Harold and Tina Radersma, and father-in-law Mario Vulcano. Renee spent her whole life caring for others and putting the needs of others first, both during her career as a health care provider as well as with her family. The family will receive friends at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Wednesday, April 4th, 2018, from 11a.m. – 12 noon. A funeral service will be held at Hope Christian Reformed Church, 64 Buchanan Crescent, Brantford at 2 p.m. that afternoon. Honouring Renee’s wishes, cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Renee to Brantford Christian School (7 Calvin Street) or the Palliative Care Unit at Brantford General Hospital would be appreciated.
