Suddenly at home on Monday, January 8, 2018, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Barb for 52 years. Loving father of Tracey Wagstaff (Rob), Lisa May (Gary), and Mandy Calberry (Scott). Devoted grandfather to his grandchildren Josh, Brandon, Noah, Katie, Isaiah, Micah and Meghan. Dear brother of Irene Plumb (Mark). Brother-in-law of Don, Dennis and Doug Bradfield. Predeceased by sisters Vicki, and Mary and sister-in-law Sharron. Amel worked at Abex, was owner of Amel’s Carpet Services and was a vendor at Mizener’s Flea Market. The family will receive friends at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Wednesday (today) from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Shenstone Baptist Church, 25 St. George Street, Brantford at 3:00 p.m. A private family interment will be held. Donations in memory of Amel can be made to the B.G.H. Foundation.
