Cindy Koke-Haalstra
After a courageous battle with cancer, Cindy, with her family by her side, went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. During her illness, Cindy was lovingly cared for by her family. Cindy is the much loved wife of Jeff and devoted mother to Rachel & Matt, Michelle and Shane. Beloved daughter of Keith & Marty Koke. Dear sister of Debbie Schmidt, Ken Koke & Marg Haalstra-Koke. Cherished sister-in-law to Arlene & Dave Carpenter, Theo & Jackie Haalstra. Precious aunt to eleven nieces & nephews and their spouses, along with twelve great nieces & nephews. Cindy will be fondly remembered as a caring & thoughtful person who loved to capture family memories on camera; these will be forever cherished. Cindy was a pediatric nurse and found great joy caring for young families. A special thanks to all of the doctors, nurses and care staff that supported Cindy and her family. Friends and family will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at Providence Free Reformed Church, 269 St. George Road, St. George, Ontario on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Zion Cemetery, Copetown. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Assistance Program or the Stedman Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
