Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on December 14, 2017 at the Brantford General Hospital in his 81st year. Beloved husband of 55 years to Marilyn (nee Evans). Devoted dad to Donna Brown, Lisa Malenfant (Mike Stillwell) and Susan Taylor. Proud grandpa of Kayla (Mike), Haley, Matheson and Jaxson. Survived by his sister Diane Knight (Doug), his brother Carl (Janice) and brother-in-law Larry Evans (Jane). Predeceased by his brother Allan (1968) and his parents Nelson (1970) and Olive (1962). Larry will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Larry was a long time employee of Massey Ferguson Combine Plant, and then Raymond Industrial where he worked up until he retired. Many memories were made at Brant Park, a spot that Larry, his wife Marilyn and his family spent 46 years camping. Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering celebrating Larry’s life will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the Charing Cross Reception Suites, adjacent to the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford from 2- 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Brant Park, Brant S.P.C.A or a charity of your choice.
