Passed away in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family on October 30, 2017 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of 53 years to Kathryn Jean Hill (nee Reeve). Loving father of Bryce Hill (Lisa Doucette) and Nadine Hill (Leigh Maulson). Proud grandpa of James Hill (Katelyn), Hunter Hill and Jenn Doucette. Jim will be deeply missed by his mother-in-law, Jean Reeve (the late Ernie), his brother-in-law, Rick Reeve (Bonnie), his niece, Mary Lavallee (the late Tony), the McClelland family, and many extended family members. Predeceased by his parents, Ted and Sadie Hill, his brother, Edward Hill, his sister, Mary and her husband, Wilf Lavallee, and his sister-in-law, Barb and her husband, Art Thompson. Cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received on Friday, November 3, 2017 at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. in the chapel.
