Peacefully surrounded by his loving family, at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday September 11, 2017. Conrad Eggel in his 89th year. Beloved husband for 55 years of the late Hilda (nee Bogensberger) (2008). Dear father of Rene (Cathy), Marion Cunningham (the late David), and Fritz (Lesley). Much loved Opa of Graham (Laura), Sheena, Jocelyn (Sean), Sean, Mark (Jennifer) and Laura Hajdu (James), and to many great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Thursday September 14, 2017 from 10-11 a.m. Service in the chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment Farringdon Burial Ground. Donations to the Red Cross appreciated.

Almighty God and Father,
by the mystery of the cross,
you have made us strong;
by the sacrament of the resurrection
you have sealed us as your own.
Look kindly upon your servant Conrad.,
Now freed from the bonds of mortality,
and count him among your saints in heaven.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
