Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital after a short battle with cancer on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 in his 69th year. Beloved husband for 44 years of Marva Lynne Usher (nee English). Dear brother of Glen (Donna) Usher, and brother-in-law of Carole Hendershot (Vic Bachmeier). Uncle of Jim (Jacqueline) Flood, Christine Flood, Debbie (Richard) Lapointe, and Rick and Judith Dugas. Great-uncle of Alyssa Rickford, Kayla Flood, Siobhan (James) Pagett, and Elizabeth (Cole) Thorsen. Great great-uncle of Riley Rickford and Violet Pagett. Special cousin of Russ and Bonnie Usher. Predeceased by parents Ted and Lois Usher, his sister Carole Flood and niece Barb Walker. Ralph was a long time employee of Union Gas Limited. He was an avid fisherman and woodworker. Ralph will be deeply missed by many special friends. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Ralph’s Life to be announced at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society appreciated.
