It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister and aunt. Beth was an amazing woman and inspiration who lived for her family. She loved her backyard and gardens, watching curling, renovation shows and cheering on her “Blue Jays”. She was a long time employee of Brant Mutual Insurance, holding various positions most recently as Vice President. Beth will be GREATLY missed by her husband of 46 years, Steve, children; Chris, Stephanie and her fiancée Joshua Postma, sisters; Joan DeGroot (Jack) and Jane Kelly (Brad Flood), nieces and nephews; Bill Krantz (Laurie) and family, Kelly Krantz (Meemer Joseph) and family, Ashley (Bernard Bressette) and family, Josh and Joey DeGroot, Karen Linton (Kirk) and family, Dan, Tim and Amanda Krantz. Also survived by brother-in-law, Rick Young and family, uncles; Peter Kelly (Winnie), Maurice Kelly and several cousins.
She adored her fur babies who have predeceased her; Boots (1986), Benji (2004) and most recently Daisy on Friday, August 26, 2016. She was also predeceased by her parents Wm. Leo Kelly (May 31, 2008) and Theresa Whaling (February 13, 1998) and mother-in-law Marion Butt (October 19, 2002). Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. in the Charing Cross Reception Suites, adjacent to the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford. Please dress casually. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association of Canada. A private interment will take place at a later date.
