Passed away at the Stedman Community Hospice after a long battle with cancer on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at the age of 68. Predeceased by his loving wife Vicki (2017) and his parents Douglas and Helen Campbell. Gerry is survived by his daughters Lesley (Jeff) Edwards and Shannon (Phil) Harris. Devoted Papa to Ben, Kaitlyn, Lauren and Eddie. Also survived by his sister Cindy (Jerry) Thomas. Gerry also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and caring and close friends. Gerry was a retired employee of Bell Canada (1997), OSP Consultants, New York State (2002) and Heron Point Golf Course (2012). He was an avid golfer and member of the Northridge Retirees group. Gerry was well liked for his easy going disposition, irreverent sense of humour and frequently shared ombudsmen advice to his friends at the Brantford Air Force Club. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Charing Cross Reception Suites, adjacent to the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Friday, December 14, 2018, from 3 - 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stedman Community Hospice or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
