⚽️ Simply a class act.
I first met Michael in the Brantford soccer circles when I was 16 (1979). A gentlemen and such a positive influence. We hooked up again 10 years ago in Hamilton. He was mentoring many other boys from the Brantford area at the district program ...putting unlimited kilometres on for the love of the game. That was Michael. RIP my friend ⚽️ ...

Such sad news to the hear of the passing of my uncle Mick, my Dad Colin’s older brother who was also taken from us by cancer 3 years ago.
Mick was a great guy who was very loved and obviously had a hugely positive influence on many, especially those young people he has coached.
My heart goes out to all the family both in Canada and here in the UK and especially to Jane, Joanne and Bryony at this difficult time. He will be sadly missed.
Although we have only seen each other on a few occasions over the years, because of the distances involved, the times we did spend together on family holidays and visits by Mick to the UK were very special times.
Relationships with older brothers can be difficult as I know from my own experience but when Mick and Colin we’re together you could tell there was genuine love and friendship, they were really good together.
Perhaps their spirits will live on together within the deer that visit the garden.
Sending love and hugs.
In sympathy,
Ryan 🦊
