It is with deepest sorrow that the family of Antonio Tancredi announce the passing of their angel on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. Born in San Marco in Lamis Italy on January 11, 1940. Predeceased by his loving wife Giovanna “Nina” in 2004. Loving father of Mike and Rachele Tancredi, father-in-law to Isabel, and loving Nonno of Tony, Gio and Sofia. Tony is survived by his brother Raffaele and his family in Italy. We take this special moment to turn our thoughts to Dad, to thank him for the home he gave and all the love we had. We think about the fleeting years too quickly gone for good, it seems like only yesterday, we’d go back if we could. A time when Dad was always there, no matter what the weather, always strong when things went wrong, he held our lives together. He strived so hard from day to day and never once complained. With steady hands, he worked so hard and kept the family name. He taught us that hard work pays off, you reap just what you sow, he said that if you tend your crops, your field will overflow. Dad dwells among the angels now, he left us much too soon, he glides across a golden field above the harvest moon. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 9 Waverly Street, Brantford on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Paris. Donations to the Stedman Community Hospice appreciated.
