Obituary for Janina Dabrowski

Print
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Janina (Jasia) Dabrowski on Saturday October 13th in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of 71 years to Marcin Dabrowski. Pre-deceased by her precious eldest son, Zenon.
She was a very loving mamusia to twins, Alicja Dolezal and Daniel Dabrowski. She was also a loving and grateful mother-in-law to Teresa Dabrowski. Jasia's home was filled with love for her grandchildren. She was a wonderful, caring, and generous babcia to David Dolezal (Fay Tremblay) , Adam Dolezal, Daniela Dabrowski, Ariela Dabrowski, Ania Fritch, and Paula Dabrowski-Martin. She was also a loving pra-babcia to Jordan Dabrowski-Clark.
Family mean't the world to Jasia. She was predeceased by her parents Jan and Marianna Dolatowska in Poland and was the youngest of 8 siblings. Jasia's life was filled with many events including the Second World War and the Cold War. After many hardships in Poland, Jasia's family was invited to Canada to start a new life in Brantford, Ontario by her pre-deceased sister, Ewa Betlejemski. The Betlejemski and Dabrowski family grew and Jasia got to see and experience living in Canada to the fullest with her family. She got to witness many accomplishments made by her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Anyone can attest to Jasia's firm belief and strength to her Catholic faith. She instilled faith to her family and always reminded everyone about the power of prayer and the power of the Holy Trinity. Jasia's faith was the rock of the family. She was the influence of so much good and love that she was an angel on earth. The family knows that with faith, anything is possible because of Jasia's example. It is with great sadness that we announce her passing, but we know that she is now our guardian angel. Visitation will take place on Tuesday October 16th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME.
