TOMS, Marjorie Elizabeth - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, sister, nana, aunt and friend on Sunday Oct 7, 2018. Marjorie was born to Marie (2000) and Stewart (1999) Toms on January 29 th.1954 in Brantford Ontario. She always said she was blessed to have two daughters, Jessica Hewko and Beth (Scott) Whittingham and grand children Ashley Hewko and Quenton, Caryssa and Sheldon Whittingham. She is survived by a sister Carol (Edward) Johnson, brothers Dennis (Marina 2007) Bouillon, Raymond (Carol Ann) Bouillon and sister in law Doris Bouillon. She is predeceased by her eldest brother Richard Bouillon (1986). She is also predeceased by the father of her two daughters Steven Hewko (2014) and her husband and best friend Dan Johnson (1997). She also leaves many loving nieces, nephews’ cousins and friends. Marjie showed us all the power of grace under pressure. She always soldiered on with self determination, fortitude and grit that all strong people possess. She was generous to a fault. Marjie had a great sense of humour and a keen wit. She had an easy going manner and was a most genuinely sweet person, honest, trustworthy and kind. She was so much like her Dad. Thank you to the Staff at the John Noble Home and Brantford General Hospital who sustained her and provided her care with dignity and respect as her health declined. A very special thank you to Catherine Bomberry at CMHA for her true friendship and care. In memory of Marjie please do something kind for someone today. Marjie will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
