PETRUCCI - Maria Gabriella (February 25,1940 - October 7, 2018)
It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Gabriella Petrucci (nee: Di Marzo) who was called home on Sunday, October 7th, 2018, at the Brantford General Hospital, in her 78th year. Daughter of the late Amelia (nee: Lalli) and the late Michele Di Marzo. Maria was a devoted wife to Fernando Petrucci and a dedicated loving mother to Maria Vincenza McWhirter and Giuseppe Michele Petrucci (Melanie). Maria was a proud and adoring Nonna to her granddaughter Alexandria McWhirter (Ian). Caring sister of Paqualina Vaccaro, Antonietta Vincelli (the late Michele), Anna Ciccoria (Vincenzo) and Domenico Di Marzo (Gina). She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and relatives in Brantford, Vancouver and Italy. Maria loved nothing more than cooking meals for her family to enjoy, taking care of her beautiful garden and spending her days with her family. Family and friends will be received at the Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Wednesday October 10th from 3-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 9 Waverly Street, Brantford, on Thursday, October 11th, 2018 at 1 p.m. If desired, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
