Condolences

Condolence From: Cathy Bristowe
Condolence: Worked with Mr. Sisson at Canada Trust many years ago. He was a sweet man, always willing to help out, even on the front line. The customers and staff loved him. He will be sadly missed.

Condolence: Our community has lost an Icon. Vyrt was a brilliant, kind and caring person - a Community Champion and advocate. As one of the Founders of the Grand Valley Educational Society and Treasure with the GVES for over 20 year, his wisdom, innovative ideas, generosity and sincere dedication to educational and training opportunities has been an inspiration to us all. He was trustworthy, a gentleman and a mentor. We shall miss him. Sending sincere condolences to Barbara and family.

Condolence From: Freddie Moir
Condolence: Vryt was a great man. He was a friend and supporter of my mother Elsie Bradshaw who was the secretary of Zion United Church, now St. Andrews, for many years until her death. He also acted as a reference for me when I was forced to change jobs because my company was closing. This city has lost a great supporter but heaven has gained another angel.

Condolence: Vyrt was a very dear neighbor for 15 years to us. He was always willing to do anything to help anyone in the neighborhood. He was the most decorated community volunteer this community has had. He will be truly missed by many including his old neighborhood. Condolences to Barbara and his children and grandchildren. The Pascoe family

Condolence: Our sincere condolences to Barbara and the family.

I had the great honour of working with this fine man for many years at at the Stedman Foundation. I often asked Vyrt for his guidance in the knowledge that what I would hear would be an expert's balanced advice. The Brant community, Canada and this world is a better place because of this wonderful man. We all owe him a great debt and can begin to pay that debt by emulating his life.

Condolence: I got to know Vyrt because he was an avid supporter of Laurier Brantford in its early days, and he always impressed me with his calm and thoughtful manner and his deeply intelligent mind. He was always brimming with good ideas that would benefit others. There are not many like him.

Condolence: Vyrt was my very dear friend - a sentiment that can be echoed by so many. I will always remember how Vyrt treated everyone with equal respect and made you feel like you mattered and made a difference in the world. He had an amazing life that impacted so many; he always went out of his way to say a kind word or do a kind deed. To Barbara and family, my deepest sympathy for loosing such a remarkable man who has left a legacy that will never be duplicated.
