John Tanner

My sincere condolences to Karen and Bob's family. Bob or "Bawber" as known to a "secret society" of musky fishing friends was an outsized personality of the grandest order. He either loved you or hated you--no, he just loved you but loved razzing you much, much more. Bob lived a big life and I was glad to know him for a number of years....our nightly chats and battles on a fishing forum (yeah, that happens) were a blast that I came to look forward to every day. While I am sure some his tales were a little tall at times, his wisdom shone through. It was a lot of fun, I really miss those chats and the phone calls where we actually spoke by voice and not the computer--Bob was much better on the horn than the keyboard! I was so very sorry to hear of the health challenges Bob experienced these past years, I am at least glad that his suffering is over. RIP Bob. Guide Jesus to a giant off Hillbank.
