Condolences

Condolence From: Brian Bosnell
Condolence: Lorna and I extend our deepest empathies to the Lucente family. I grew up alongside the Lucente boys. They on Victoria and me around the corner on Brock. We continue as friends to this day. I vividly remember Mario’s massive garden irrigated by the same underground stream that ran under our driveway. That garden—smaller now—still exists.
Mario as recently as last summer visited my neighbor on Sherwood, leaned over the fence and with a quick, firm shake of my hand commented on the health of my tomatoes. My plants for several years grew from Mario's seedlings.
Two summers ago I dismounted off my mountain bike and paid a surprise stop while Ralph was visiting his parents at the new home just off Highway 53. As per usual there was Mario with a hoe in hand. I sat with a cold drink while we pondered where the last sixty years got to.
I even heard him sing once. Marvelous!
