Obituary for Vito Antonio Martino

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Vito on March 2, 2018 at the Brantford General Hospital in his 50th year. Beloved husband and best friend of 22 years to Diane Martino. Devoted and loving dad of Natasha, Julia, and Nicholas. Cherished son of Luisa and the late Donato Martino. Much loved brother of Maria Osella (James) and treasured uncle to their children Mark and Adriana. Adored son-in-law of Roger Brewer (Ev) and Carole Brewer (John). Dearest brother-in-law of Lisa Brewer, and the late Michael Brewer, and loving uncle of Lisa’s children Madison and Becca. He will also be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Vito was a devoted and loving husband and father who loved cooking, camping, fishing, gardening and being outdoors with his family. Vito spent nearly 30 happy years working at Miura Canada in Brantford, which gave him the opportunity to travel all over the world. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the nurses and Dr. Bryan Lee at the Brantford Cancer Clinic for their loving support and care. The family will receive friends at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers to be recited that evening at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be held at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 9 Waverly Street, Brantford on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. Donations in memory of Vito can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
