Obituary for Hendrik "Hank" Noort

Hendrik "Hank" Noort
Sadly the family announces the passing of Hank Noort in his 73rd year after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Linda and cherished father of Susan (Peter) and Dave (Andrea), loving Papa to Kaitlyn, Tristan, Vanessa and Julia. Predeceased by his parents, Albert and Nellie Noort, mother and father-in-law Marion and Albert Brown, sisters-in-law Lois and Barbara and brother-in-law Fred. He will be missed by sisters-in-law Dorayne, Georgie (Jim), Barb and many nieces and nephews. Hank worked at Ingersoll Dresser Pump for almost 30 years and recently enjoyed doing charters for L & L Shuttle. He enjoyed golfing, curling, hockey and baseball and was a long-standing member of the former Colborne Street United Church where he enjoyed singing in the choir. He was also a volunteer for the Brantford School of Instrumental Music for many years. Special thanks to Dr. Lee and the staff at the Brantford General Cancer Clinic, the Bayshore Home Health Care staff, especially Erin, Casey, Floria, Kathy, and Mark. Much appreciation to Tracy, Dr. Trevor and all the wonderful staff of the Stedman Community Hospice. Honoring Hank’s wishes cremation has taken place. Private arrangements entrusted to TOLL FUNERAL HOME. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Stedman Community Hospice would be appreciated. www.tollfh.ca
