Obituary for Bernice Mary-Ellen "Bonnie" McInnes

My life's been full, I savoured much :
Good friends, good times,
A loved one's touch.
Bernice ( Bonnie ) McInnes passed away Dec. 22, 2017, at the age of 93.
Guided by her faith, Bonnie lived a fulfilling life. She was a loving wife to her husband Frank and a devoted mother to her four children. Her community involvement included volunteer service at the Brantford General Hospital, participation in Probus and membership in the C.W.L. Bonnie served for several years on the Diocesan C.W.L. Board as secretary-treasurer.
After raising their children, Bonnie and Frank set out to travel the world. Through pictures and tales told, family and friends became a part of the adventures.
Bonnie is predeceased by her husband Frank, parents Ann and Charles Powell of Winnipeg, Manitoba, sister Shirley (Paul) Bowman, in-laws Mary and Gus McKinnon, Jane and Viv Coonan, Barbara and Don McInnes and Joan and Harry Donohue.
She is remembered for her wisdom and strength by her children Shirley (Ian) Gibson, Kathleen (Greg) Warnick, John McInnes (Robin), Mary (Ted) Quigley ; grandchildren Carolyn (John), Michael (Kathleen), Lauren (Carlo), Sarah, Chris (Jaime), Elizabeth (Pierce), Andrea, Meagan (Shane) and Erin; great grandchildren Brooke, Ryan, Ella, Chloe and Hazen.
Bonnie will also be loved for her kindness and laughter by in-laws Marg and Bob Howarth, Pat and Diane McInnes and wonderful nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Hadley and the staff at St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre, Brantford, for their compassion and care.
Family and friends will be received for visitation at the Dennis Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross St., Brantford,on Thurs., Dec. 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church, 9 Waverly St., Brantford, on Fri., Dec. 29, at 11:00 a.m. Private internment will occur at a later date.
A donation to a charity of your choice, in Bonnie's name, is appreciated.
