Obituary for Leslie Brian James "Les" Sitton

SITTON, Leslie Brian – it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Les, after a courageous fight with lung disease for many years. Les passed away, surrounded by his loving family at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of June for over 47 years. Cherished father of Laura (Terry) Bonnett, Brian (Natalie) Soos, Gary (Lisa) Sitton, John (Sandra) Soos, Dan (Joanne) Blankenship. Proud grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by his siblings Leonard (Jo) Sitton and Mary (Gerald) Rogers of England. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. and again on Monday, November 20, 2107 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Funeral service will follow in the chapel at 12 p.m. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Waterford Heritage Trail or the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
