Peacefully with his family by his side, at the Brantford General Hospital on Thursday November 16, 2017. Roy Bartlett in his 65th year. Beloved husband for 46 years of Phyllis (nee Wagner). Loving father to Michael and his wife Amy, Robert, Chico, and Molly. Loved grandfather to James, Brandon, Diesel, and Ryeith. Pre-deceased by a grandson Quinn. Great-grandpa to Lucian. Roy is survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Roy was a retired 23 year employee of Gates Rubber. He coached girls softball for 16 years and was a vendor at Crossroad Flea Market for 23 years. Sadly missed by his little dog Jackie. Special thanks to all nurses on the fifth and seventh floors at the BGH. Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Tuesday November 21, 2017 from 12 noon until service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
