Obituary for Joanne Giammichele

Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Dearest daughter of Patricia Desantis and the late Alfonso (1975). Devoted mother of Carmen, Alessandro and Piera. Amazing sister of George (Lee Anne) and Teresa. Joanne will also be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. She will be forever cherished by her loving partner Peter. Joanne will be resting in peace with her family in Heaven. Special thanks to the Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington for their extra care. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 133 Murray Street, Brantford on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 11am. A reception will follow at the Charing Cross Reception Suites, adjacent to the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME. 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford. Donations to www.brightrun.ca or any charity of choice towards Breast Cancer Research appreciated.
