Obituary for Mandeep Singh

SINGH, Mandeep – It is with heartbreaking sadness we announce the passing of Mandeep on August 13th, 2017, in his 42nd year. Loving, warm-hearted husband of Cara (nee Dostal). Proud father and enthusiastic hugger and kisser of his two babies, Mia and Heidi. Loving son of Rachhpal and Sukhjit Singh. Dear brother of Gurdeep. Cherished son-in-law to Marcia Dostal. Best friend and partner of their own brand of shenanigans, to Rob Howe and Stuart Talos. As well, Mandeep had the most special group of friends who he adored. Mandeep earned his Bachelor of Biochemistry from Western and another Bachelor of Science from D'Youville University. He completed two years of a Doctorate of Physiotherapy in Buffalo as well. He also worked as a Clinical Researcher at University Hospital in London focusing on Alzheimer's Disease for many years before becoming a professional student. Mandeep enjoyed running, playing with the girls and making amazing dinners that were never ready until midnight due to his meticulousness. The outpouring of love over the last few days has been extraordinary, just like Mandeep. Please keep sharing your stories that will help keep Mandeep alive in your hearts and memories. Share them with our children so they will know just how special their father was. So Mandeep, thank you for giving me our two amazing babies. Thank you for meeting me at the end of the aisle. Thank you for putting up the fight of your life these past two weeks. Your courage goes unmatched. You are in heaven now. I keep waiting to hear your laugh. It was my favourite sound. Mia, Heidi and I can't wait for the day we don't have to miss you anymore. Stay close, my love.
Funeral service was held, followed by a burial at Oakhill Cemetery on Wednesday, August 16th, 2017.
