Ron passed away on August 9, 2017 at the Brantford General Hospital after a difficult illness. Born in Weston, Ontario September 23, 1928. Beloved husband and best friend of Helen (nee Hawkins) for 63 years. Loving Dad to Linda (Mike Newton). Ron loved to curl, and as a couple Ron and Helen loved to travel and cruise. He was an active member of the Probus Club and the Royal Canadian Legion. Family and friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Monday, August 14, 2017 from 1 pm. with the service to follow in the chapel at 2 pm. Donations in Ron’s name to the Brantford SPCA or the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund would be appreciated by the family.
