The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of William Butcher can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Jane and Fern Broomfield
Condolence: Sorry to hear of Bill's passing. We enjoyed many card games and get togethers at Shore Acres Park. He was such a character who played a few tricks on the neighbors. Thinking of you Joan and the family. Our heart feels your loss.

Condolence: hey Butch et el. I am sure that you have received many condolences in regard to your dad. I know that he was a stubborn old ... but let me expand on the other side. Bill would always ask in a quiet way what I was doing and where I was going in your future. He did it in a quiet way that you never really got the drift of what he was asking until you thought about it later. He was always up on all of your friends and what they were doing.
That is what made him special
see ya grumpy on the other side and I am sure you will have something to say to me whether I need it or not and Crab will be there with his two cents.

Please know that if we were closer we would tell you in person but now living in Cornwall makes the trip all but impossible.
