Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at her home, Foxridge Care Community in her 88th year. Beloved mother of Linda Turcotte-Wilks (Roger), Jeff Sketchley (Sharon) and Bruce Sketchley (Katya). Best ever Nana to Jillian (Matt Harper), Ryan Turcotte (Christie), Evan Sketchley (Jen), Kate Sketchley and Jessica (Jeff Nesbitt). Loving Great-Nana of Chace, Blake, Luke, Emily and Avery. Dear sister of Jackie (the late Bill) and Richard (Anne). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. June had a love for English gardens and sailing (The Sea Dove). A thank you to good friends Bob and Dorothy Tiffin for your friendship, generosity and assisting with making sure June never missed an eye appointment. A special thank you to Foxridge Care Community for all their compassionate care of June during her short time there. A Celebration of June’s life will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Charing Cross Reception Suites, adjacent to DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford from 5- 8 p.m. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations can be made to the Salvation Army or the Canadian National Institution for the Blind, Brantford.
