Alexander "Scotty"  Cameron
Passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Brierwood Gardens in his 87th year. Beloved husband of 40 years to Wilma. Loving father of Anne Coutts, Allison Cameron, Cindy Smith (Glenn Neate) and John Smith. Devoted Papa of Sara, Stephen, Casey, Kelly (Wade), Erin, Dennis and Tracy, and great-papa of Ryan, Nya, Tevaun and Layla. Survived by his brother Kenneth (Helen) and his sister-in-law Marilyn. Predeceased by his brother Victor. He will also be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Alex served in the Royal British Air Force in Suez Cannel, following he worked for 40 years at Union Gas. Alex was a long time member of the Dunsdon Legion Branch 461 and received the 50 year pin. A Past Master for two years and Mason of the Reba Lodge #515 A.F. & A.M. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.. A Masonic Memorial Service will be held that evening at 6:30 p.m. under the auspices of the Reba Lodge #515 A.F. & A.M. A funeral service to be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Cremation to follow and a private interment to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Brant or a charity of your choice.
