Obituary for Robert Earl Trevena

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bob in his 97th year on Thursday, May 25, 2017. Survived by his loving and devoted wife Mary (nee Nicol) of 69 years. Cherished father of Susan Hoffman (Dave), Janis Tomkinson (Jim), Nancy Green (Dave) and Marykay LaForme (Dwayne). Predeceased by son Tim (Peggy). Adored grandfather (Granddude) of Melanie Novak (Dwayne), Adam Tomkinson (Nicole), Michelle Hoffman (Ryan), Andrew Tomkinson, Karen Steadman (Phil), William Green (Joy) and Heather Green. Dear great-grandfather of Jordan, Liam, Nolan, Callum, Sophie, Jade and BG. Also survived by sisters-in-law Olive Foulger, Arlene Nicol and many nieces and nephews. Our thanks to the caring staff and especially the nurses in ER at the BGH, the PSW’s and McKane. Bob was a WWII veteran, a carpenter by trade and a retiree of Koehring – Waterous. Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 12 noon with a Memorial Service to follow in the chapel at 1 p.m. Donations to the Brant County S.P.C.A. or the charity of your choice appreciated.
