On April 27, 2017, Susan Gifford Bechtel passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Brantford General Hospital at the age of 71 years. She leaves behind her beloved husband Dan Bechtel, and her loving children Shawn, David, Virginia, Dana and Charrie. Proud grandmother of many grandchildren. Survived by her siblings Sarah (Brian) Stutt, David (Ingrid) Bryson, Melanie (Ron) Fyfe, and Ian (Chantel) Bryson. Susan’s spirit and faith never waivered in her last days. Susan was one of Jehovah’s witnesses for over 50 years and had complete faith in the earthly resurrection, and that brought her much comfort at all times. JOHN 5:28:29. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the KINGDOM HALL OF JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES, 11 St. Patricks Drive, Brantford at 2 p.m. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations can be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
