Obituary for Louis Ernest Mayer
MAYER, Louis – passed away after a brief illness, at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, April 24, 2017, in his 81st year. Cherished husband of Nellie for over 62 years. Loving father of Sandra, Tina, Ron (Cheryl) and Alison. Proud grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Roland (Anne), Frank (Sharon) and Lillian (Geno). Louis is also survived by many extended family members. Louis was a millwright with Barber-Ellis, Cockshutt’s and Gates. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the staff and nurses of 2nd and 7th floors of the Brantford General Hospital. A private burial will take place. Family and friends will be received at the CHARING CROSS RECEPTION SUITES, 63 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 1-3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. www.dennistoll.ca
